Dear friends!

I’m happy to send you results and photos of National Rottweiler Specialty Show that took place in St. Petersburg at June 25 2006. 

We expected 183 entries from Moscow, Ural, Siberia, Central Russia, Ukraine, Estonia and, of course, St. Petersburg. Respectable judges were invented - Mr. Radisha Stojdinovich (Serbia, “Top Rot” kennel) and Mrs. Carla Lensi (Italy).

As often the classes of “grown-up” rotties were less numerous and interesting then that of the young ones.

The weather before the most important for us week-end was extremely hot and we were afraid of problems, but happily the Sunday was rather cool. So rotties could run, run, run! (two big rings gave handlers a possibility to show movements).

As to bloodlines, most interesting offspring were that of ICH Ivan Genesis II (born in Poland, lived in Siberia, now sold to Italy). I thing it will be interesting for you that Ivan is the son of Jeneck’s Ims (lived in Poland, “Genesis” kennel). Ivan became a greatly successful producer and gave a lot of quality rotties … Also the influence of world-famous Ben v.d. Scherau was noticeable (we saw his grandkids via multi - winners Paris Bona Dea Plus and Bourbon Bride of Beau Monde).  And of course – the great, great Flash v. Wolfert Turm, “gold producer” not only in Russia, was presented in a lot of pedigrees. Also we could see the “new wave” of his progeny – impressive Hot Rain GEST. Son of  Ramzes Crni Lotos, and some Bronko od Dragicevica kids.

Noris was also presented – via Balou, Fanto, Odo and Faiter Erfolg Viking (son of Balou living in Moscow).

The show was opened by veterans – and they were wonderful! Still alert and robust, excellently prepared well-known show dogs and producers VIVIEN and Best Veteran  ICH Nevskiy Triumfator Tsesarevich could be an example for other participants.

Best male CRUSH  s Berega Turi was born in Siberia (in fare Tymen) and lives now in Moscow.  Powerful expressive male with gorgeous head, broad chest and fluent movements was rewarded according to his deserts!  He is the son of Ivan Genesis II, and his mother is born of highly interesting combination Racker v. Weissen Schwan @ Flamme v. Weihungstal (Furst daughter).

Best Female and BOB became the daughter of Balou v. Silberblick - Rotti’s Allyans Roxanne.

Participants were awarded with a lot of prizes.
